Latest Ultrasound Pictures!

Today we had another ultrasound of the twins! According to the pictures they are twin girls and growing well. They were moving around quite a bit during the exam, so it took some extra time for the sonographer to take all of the pictures, but she was still able to get some nice profile views:

ARRS Meeting in Washington DC- April 2008

I spent this past week in Washington DC attending the American Roentgen Ray Society meeting. It was really nice to get away from work for a week and it was the perfect time of year to be in DC! Justin was even able to come out for the first couple of days which was an added bonus.

This picture was taken in front of the hotel... the cherry blossoms were beautiful!

The cherry blossoms and colorful flowers really made it feel like spring... this past winter in Michigan was really long so it was a nice change of scenery.

We made a special trip to Cakelove... this bakery sells the best cupcakes ever!

Justin likes the chocolate with strawberry frosting, and I like the vanilla with chocolate frosting.

We went out for lots of great dinners... here I am with my co-residents Carolyn (left) and Timnit (middle) at a Japanese restaurant called Perry's in the Adams Morgan area.

The hotel was conveniently located just down the street from the zoo. The elephants were out playing with water and it was really cute.

One of them was taking a bath... the technique they use is similar to Lane's technique for bathing cats!

The gorillas are always a favorite of mine... they were relaxing and enjoying the nice weather.
