Emily and Lauren Playtime Video

I posted this on my Facebook - Stephanie liked it and wanted me to post it on the blog as well. Here are Emily and Lauren on a typical morning playing in their bouncy seats. The like to kick and smile when they get excited. Sorry for the poor camera technique - I was trying to entertain them while taking the video.

Here is a picture from this past weekend of Lauren (left) and Emily (right) enjoying some time together... they even held eachother's hand for a little while which was very cute!

Exersaucer Fun!

The girls love to play in their exersaucers! They have two at our house and two at Grandma's house, so there are plenty of saucers to go around.

Lauren is very focused when she plays and likes to make the plastic spheres spin. We sometimes call her Sprout because she has a lock of hair on the top of her head that will not lay flat no matter what we do.

Emily is a little more freestyle when it comes to playtime. She squeals with delight and drools profusely when she gets excited.

Happy New Year 2009!

Happy New Year! 2008 was an eventful year for us... finishing residencies, selling our house in Michigan, moving back to Oregon, and best of all, the arrival of Lauren (left) and Emily (right)! They are growing so quickly and we are looking forward to all the new things they will start doing in the coming year.
