More Snow Days!

We had more snow this past week, so school was canceled on thursday and friday. The girls had a snowball fight in our backyard!

Snow Days

School was cancelled two days last week due to snow and ice! On one of the days the storm did not start until the afternoon, so the girls and I went out for an early lunch at Zoup. 

Later in the afternoon the snowflakes started to fall!

PS- I forgot to post this photo from earlier in the month of the girls with their advent calendars. Only two weeks left until Christmas!

Taekwondo Blue Belt Test

Emily and Lauren took their blue belt test for taekwondo this past week. Here is Emily demonstrating a jumping kick.

The girls both passed and received another gold star for their uniforms!

Elf Yourself

Every year the girls' school does a fundraiser called Elf Yourself... students bring in donations and receive a photo of themselves as an elf!

Emily was an Oregon Duck elf this year. 

Lauren chose to be a girl elf... so cute!

Holiday Festivities

We went to visit Santa at the shopping mall this week. Lauren was on the Nice List!

Emily was on the Nice List too!

The girls also went to a special holiday party this weekend... everyone was instructed to wear pajamas and bring a gift that would be given to a child in need. 

As a surprise, each guest received a beautiful dress with headband and necklace!

Emily got a white dress and Lauren got a black dress. They had such a fun time!
