Sunny Day

This past week the rain temporarily stopped and was replaced by blue skies and sunshine!  It was spring break in Tigard, so we went to a local elementary school park to play.

The park has a REALLY long seesaw!

Big Girl Bikes

This weekend the girls strapped on their helmets and rode their "big girl" bikes for the first time!  Here is Lauren trying out her new wheels...

Emily was so excited!  She kept yelling, "Look at me, Daddy!  Look at me!"

The girls in action!  They are still trying to figure out the idea of pedaling as demonstrated to them by some of the older neighborhood kids.

Emily couldn't stop grinning!

Trampolines

This week we visited the Kinetic Gymnastic Center.  The girls had so much fun jumping on the trampolines!

The continuous rain has meant lots of indoor play time!  Here is Lauren going down the slide and Emily trying on a cone hat at the Rainbow Playground.

New Places to Play

This week we visited some new places!  Frog Pond Toys in Lake Oswego has a great play area for trying out toys.  Here is Lauren playing with the train set and Emily writing on the chalkboard.

The Lily Pad Cafe is located next to the play area and served delicious toddler friendly snacks!

Emily (front) and Lauren (back) also had a great time at the indoor gym at the Play Boutique.

The bounce house was a hit although by the end the girls were exhausted!  Lauren on the left and Emily on the right.
