Art Day Camp and Disney On Ice

There was no school on friday, so the girls went to an art day camp at My Masterpiece Art Studio. In this photo they are glazing ceramic bowls that they made at a previous art class. 

We went to the Disney On Ice Frozen show this weekend and it was impressive! Sven is Justin's favorite character in the movie.

Baggenstos Farm Pumpkin Patch

This pumpkin patch is my favorite... all of the pumpkins are washed and set out on a nicely groomed field. :D

We went back a few days later with some friends from school. The weather was great and everyone had lots of fun.

Newport Beach Vacation

After spending the first half of the week at Disneyland and California Adventure, we drove to Newport Beach. We stayed in an oceanfront rental unit so we could be close to the beach. 

We stayed in the upper unit of this house. 

The girls loved the double bunk beds!

Temperatures were in the upper 90's, so it was nice to have an air conditioned place to lounge at in the afternoons. 

The scenery was gorgeous!

On one of the days we rented a motor boat and cruised around Newport Bay. 

We ventured into the ocean for a bit... Emily was concerned about sharks but we did not see any.

Lauren had a little mishap during the trip and lost her glasses in the ocean. Fortunately there was a Lenscrafters nearby so she was able to get a new pair very quickly. We took this photo at the airport on the day we flew back home. It was a great trip!

California Adventure

We had fun visiting California Adventure... the weather was great!

The girls are able to go on rides by themselves now that they are seven-years-old.
