Brunch With Gavin

This weekend we went over to Gavin's house for a delicious brunch!

Heart Day Festivities

The girls thoroughly enjoyed their school Valentine's Day party which began with cupcakes, cookies, and pink fruit punch. 

I had the day off so I was able to attend the party too!

After the sweet treats were eaten, the class sat in a circle while Teacher Denise explained how to do each of the crafts that were set up as stations around the classroom.

In the afternoon, we made cookies for Daddy. The girls take decorating very seriously!

This week we also had our friend Ila over for bike and scooter riding... 

And later in the week we enjoyed a sunny day at the park with Ila.

Weekend Celebrations

The girls attended a birthday party for their classmate Addy at Pump It Up! Here is Emily going down a slide.

We also celebrated Chinese New Year with Amanda and her family! Here is (from left to right) Emily, Amanda, and Lauren playing an Xbox 360 dancing game before dinner. 

The three of them were REALLY into it and spent most of the evening dancing.

Sledding in Bend

 

We spent an afternoon sledding at Wanoga Sno-Park... the packed snow made for fast sledding, so Emily (left) and Lauren (right) wore their helmets.

The girls are able to run up the hill pulling their own sleds which made it much less tiring for Mom and Dad!

Skiing in Bend

We spent two full days skiing up at Mt. Bachelor. The weather was gorgeous!

The girls had a great time at ski school. One the first day, they practiced walking up/skiing down a shallow hill. Lauren is the second person on the walkway and Emily is the fourth person on the walkway.

On the second day, the girls rode the magic carpet to the top of a slightly bigger hill!

Bend Getaway

Last week we went on a winter getaway to Bend! We stayed in a condo at The Firehall located in the heart of the downtown area.

One morning we met our friends Prashant and Nina for breakfast! Justin did his ENT residency with Prashant who now practices in Eugene.
