July Snapshots and Lexi Photos

Lexi loves to lounge on pillows and blankets.

Lexi resting on our bed.

Tired Lexi.

Justin and I went for a walk in Cook Park and saw this beautiful field of wild flowers!

We also went out for a special dinner at Nodoguru to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary.

Lexi resting on the couch.

Lexi loves the sound of my hair dryer and gets so excited by the blast of warm air.

The girls attended an overnight volleyball camp at George Fox college. There was no air conditioning in the dorms so it was a bit warm, but they still had a fun time!

Manzanita Trip

We always look forward to summer trips to the Oregon coast. The girls brought their friend Abigail along this year.

We stayed in the same house as last year... it has a great view with easy beach access and is dog friendly.

Lexi loves to lounge during vacations.

We went for a hike on the Neahkanie Mountain trail.

The view from the top is spectacular!

We had lunch at Riverside Fish 'n' Chips in nearby Nehalem.

Lexi spent the afternoon resting after the hike.

Emily made this pretty henna design on her hand.

There is a great walking/biking trail near the rental house... Lexi loves to go on walks!

USATF National Junior Olympic Championships

Emily and Lauren competed at the USATF National Junior Olympics Championships... this year the meet happened to be in Eugene, so we drove there and stayed overnight at a hotel.

It was a beautiful day at Hayward Field.

Lots of spectators and competitors!

Emily competed in triple jump but unfortunately the outcome was less than she had hoped for with scratches on all three of her jumps. It was still a great experience for her, and there will be plenty of other meets for her to compete at in the future.

Lauren ran the first leg in the girls' 15-16 year old division 4x100 relay race... she was in lane 4 and did a great job! Her team placed 36th out of 46 teams from all across the country.

The next morning we had breakfast at Studio One Cafe.

The french toast and biscuits and gravy are our favorites!

Taylor Swift- The Eras Tour

The girls went on a weekend trip to Seattle with their friend Abigail to see Taylor Swift in concert. Here they are getting ready at the hotel.

Ready for the concert!

They said it was a complete mob scene at the venue.

They had a pretty good view of the stage.

The girls had a fabulous time!
