Emily's Fracture, Fall Leaves, and Lexi's Sweater

Emily fractured her finger while playing football in PE. 

She has to wear this giant splint while it heals... it has been nicknamed The Cobra and The Hook.

I went for a walk through Cook Park while Lexi was at her grooming appointment... the leaves are so pretty at this time of year. 

When Lexi is tired, she loves to be carried by Lauren. 

Lexi has a new leopard print sweater!

We also got her a new jacket although to be honest she prefers to stay inside when the weather is cool or rainy. 

Japanese Garden and Afuri

Justin and I went to the Japanese garden in Portland... the fall colored leaves were beautiful!

We stopped on the way home for lunch at Afuri... they have the best Japanese food!

Lexi photos- early October

Lexi celebrated her first birthday on October 4th!

She continues to grown in length and weight. She currently weighs just under 18 pounds. 

We went for a walk and she was SO excited to see a squirrel!

She is also fascinated by dried leaves blowing in the wind.

She enjoys sleeping. 

She often falls asleep with her neck stretched out like this.

I am learning how to do digital illustration... I made this pattern of repeating Lexi faces using one of her photos for inspiration.

When she exercises, the "smile" appears.

Taekwondo Poomsae Seminar

The girls participated in a poomsae seminar with several other taekwondo schools in the area.  It was the first multi-school taekwondo event since the pandemic started and the girls had a great time!
