Let's Party!

The girls went to a birthday party this weekend! Cousins Kaylin and Kali just turned six and had their celebration at Safari Sam's. Here Emily (in purple) and Lauren (in pink) enjoy some vanilla ice cream after eating a hearty lunch of cheese pizza. The girls had a great time and especially loved the baby slide!

The girls were exhausted by the end of the party! They fell asleep during the car ride home and took a long nap at home. Here is Lauren feeling peppy after her nap.

Later in the day, we went across the street to Kali and Kaylin's house to check out all the presents they had received, including this egyptian pyramid from Emily and Lauren. From left to right: Kaylin, Emily, Kali, and Lauren.

Today we took a trip to the mall and bought some new shoes for the girls... their first pair with real soles!

New toys from cousins Kali and Kay!

Cousins Kali and Kay came over today which was quite a treat! They are in kindergarden now, so we don't get to see them as much. Emily and Lauren were so excited to see them! From left to right: Lauren, Emily, Kali, and Kay.

Kali and Kay generously brought over a TON of toys and clothes that they have outgrown... including a fabulous dollhouse! Here is Emily holding the pink baby stroller while watching Lauren push one of the many sound buttons in the dollhouse.

In the afternoon, we went to Red Robin for lunch. Emily (right) is a macaroni and cheese eating machine! Lauren (left) preferred to snack on organic smiley face puffies.

Playtime!

One of the perks of being a twin is always having a playmate! The girls have been playing together more and more... sometimes we even hear giggling coming from the nursery when they are playing instead of napping!

Relaxing Labor Day Weekend

We have been enjoying the Labor Day weekend! This a picture we took at the zoo in front of the twin bears. Emily is on the left and Lauren is on the right.

It's been a bit rainy, so we've been spending lots of time playing indoors. Here is some video footage of Emily pushing the walker... Lauren made sure she got some camera time too!

The girls have learned how to escape the Cage and enjoy playing in the family room... this a video of them tossing blocks on the floor.
