Rainy Weekend

It was a stormy weekend! Here is Emily (left) and Lauren (right) getting ready to head out in their rain gear. 

They found these fun masks at the store... Halloween has always been one of their favorite holidays! :)

Studio Portraits

Here are our favorite photos from a recent indoor studio portrait session!

Braids

The girls always enjoy getting their hair cut! Lauren requested to have her hair styled in braids. 

Emily requested a braided hairdo too!

Their stylist Lalita made two different types of braids for them... so pretty!

Afterwards we went to Taco Del Mar... the girls love the cheese quesadilla kid's meal.

They finished their meals and were still hungry, so we went out for frozen yogurt too. :)

This weekend we went to the Barnum and Bailey circus... we had suite seats that were farther away from the stage, but the free food and drinks were definitely a treat! Lauren took the photo on the left of the tightrope acrobats, and Emily took the photo on the right of the elephants.

First Day of Kindergarten

The girls had their first day of kindergarten this week at Alberta Rider! Here is Emily (left) and Lauren (right) on the morning of the first day. 

They were so excited to bring their new backpacks to school!

On the first day the parents were invited to stay for a little while to help the kids transition into the classroom. Here is Emily working on her first school assignment.

Lauren (left) and Emily (right) also completed their first homework assignment this weekend! They really enjoyed their first week and we are looking forward to a great year!

End of Summer Trip to the Zoo

On Labor Day we decided to spend the day at the zoo! Here is Lauren (left) and Emily (right) checking out the map and deciding where to go. 

The girls met their friend Amanda there.. all three of them were wearing the same sun hat and fancy sunglasses!

Dahlia Festival

We went to the dahlia festival this weekend in Canby and had a fun time looking at all of the flowers! Here is Lauren (left) and Emily (right) posing in front of the field.
