Manzanita Vacation

We went to Manzanita earlier this month for our last vacation of the summer. The house we rented had A LOT of stairs.

Lexi hanging out with Lauren as she unpacks.

Sometimes when Lexi is feeling happy and silly she rolls around on the ground with her toys... it's so cute!

It was rainy and drizzly at first... we went downtown and got soaked.

Lexi had a hard time with this open style spiral staircase for the first few days. She kept getting stuck midway and needed someone to carry her the rest of the way.

Lexi napping in her bed while Lauren watches TV.

Tired Lexi enjoying some cuddles from Lauren.

The rental house was really close the beach... it was still pretty despite the clouds.

Lexi chewing on her beef cheek.

The weather cleared, so we took Lexi down to the beach.

Lexi loves to walk on the sand.

Justin and I went for a run the next day... it was cloudy and drizzly again. We encountered this beach area with a ton of birds.

The sun came out later that day, so we did more beach walking.

Lexi enjoyed playing with her toys at the rental house.

Justin and I went for a hike the next day.

The view from the top was gorgeous!

Lexi sleeping.

Sometimes Lexi snores and it is so cute!

The rental house had several bikes on site, so we went for a ride.

It was a beautiful day!

The girls tried these locally famous hot dogs and said they were delicious.

Lexi came to the restaurant too. :)

We all had a great time in Manzanita!

Happy 13th Birthday!

The girls turned 13! We had a lunch celebration with MAWS and DD. The Oyatsupan cheesecake was delicious!

Thank you to Aunty Carol and Uncle Joe for the box of birthday goodies!

A 13th birthday portrait with Lexi.

We also did an outdoor portrait without Lexi.

Grandma Rufener made the cutest ATM birthday cards!

Family portrait with Grandma and Grandpa Rufener.

The girls had a small birthday celebration with friends. The evening started with dinner at Mingo. The girls and their friends had their own table... Justin and I sat at the table next to them.

After dinner they went to the mall and then to our house to hang out. It was a fun evening!
