Haircuts, OBOB Regionals, and Friends
The girls went to the salon this week for haircuts. Emily chose a shorter bob.
Lauren kept hers longer with subtle layers.
The girls got temporary colored hair extensions... pink for Lauren and blue for Emily.
The girls also picked out Easter bunnies at the store. Lauren named hers Oatmeal and Emily named hers Pineapple.
The girls' OBOB team, Reading Experts, competed in regionals this weekend! Here is the team wearing custom team t-shirts that they designed themselves.
They competed in four rounds but did not make it to the finals. It was a great experience and we are so proud of them!
This weekend the girls also celebrated their twin friends' birthday. They went to the Wings and Waves Waterpark followed by dinner at MOD Pizza. They had a fantastic time!

Slime and Italian Apple Cake
Lauren and Emily love to make slime!
The girls made an Italian apple cake using a recipe from Lauren's cookbook. Emily sprinkled powdered sugar over the top as a final touch.
