Lexi likes to wake me up on the weekends by jumping onto the bed.

The boy who used to live across the street when the girls were in grade school came back for a visit... we recreated one of their childhood photos.

Three Rivers League Championships- Finals

Emily triple jumped 36 feet, 2.25 inches and finished in second place which qualifies her for the state meet.

Lauren triple jumped 34 feet, 4 inches... a personal best which earned her a fifth place finish.  Her final jump at her final track meet of high school ended up being her best jump ever.  Great way to end her high school sports chapter!

Emily ran the first leg of the 4x100 meter relay... her team finished in 47.95 seconds. They earned a first place finish which qualifies them for the state meet.

Emily ran the 100 meter in 12.42 seconds... such a close race and she managed to get first place by just six hundredths of a second! 

Emily ran the 200 meter in 25.86 seconds... she finished in fourth place which is pretty good considering it was her fourth event at the meet.

Three Rivers League Championships- 100m and 200m Prelims

Emily competed in the 100m prelims... she finished in first place overall and qualified for district finals with a personal best time of 12.34 seconds.

Emily also competed in the 200m prelims... she finished in second place overall and qualified for district finals with a time of 25.98 seconds. Congrats to Emily!

Track and Field Senior Night

Every year the track and field team honors the senior athletes at the end of the last regular home meet of the season. Each senior is recognized and then runs through a tunnel formed by their team mates and coaches.

Emily competed in four events at the Dean Nice Invitational meet.  She got PR's in both the 100m and 200m races... congratulations!

We did not make her go for a walk that day... she went back to her bed and it almost looked like she was scowling at us!
