Egyptian Face Painting and Picnic at the Park

Lauren (left) and Emily (right) got their faces painted for Egyptian Day at summer camp!

In the evening we had a Subway picnic dinner at the park.

Lauren is an excellent climber too!

Brasada Ranch

We recently visited Brasada Ranch in central Oregon. The weather was HOT but we still had a great time!

This was the condo we stayed at.

One afternoon we saw a wild bunny in the bushes!

One night we drove in to Bend to have dinner at a mexican restaurant called Hola. We loved the make-your-own-guacamole appetizer!

Happy Birthday to Daddy and Mini Pool Fun

The girls were so excited to celebrate Daddy's birthday this weekend! Grandma Rufener baked a delicious chocolate oatmeal birthday cake for the celebration.

Blowing out the candles!

Happy birthday!

Lauren taking a nap before part two of the festivities.

We went to Southpark restaurant for Justin's birthday dinner. The restaurant is in the brick building in the background on the right and specializes in seafood... the girls had manila clams and salmon, Justin had ono, and I had ahi tuna.

Happy girls after a delicious meal.

Lauren (left) and Emily (right) enjoying popsicles and sprinkler fun. They still enjoy their mini pool too despite its small size!

4th of July, Senior Citizen Day, and Minions

We had a great time celebrating the 4th of July at Grandpa and Grandma Rufener's house with cousin Ella! The Kisors and Yaps came too and it was fun to have the entire family together.

Eating dinner on the back deck. From left to right: Kay, Lauren, Emily, Ella, Kali, and Tian.

Lauren was cautious and stayed far away from the sparks!

The girls' summer camp occasionally has dress up theme days... last week's theme day was dress up like a senior citizen.

This weekend we also baked Minion brownies!
