A Visit to the Salon

Emily (left) and Lauren (right) got haircuts this weekend!  They did a great job of sitting still and this time they even let the hairdressers blowdry their hair.  Here they are post-haircut taking a ride in the salon's pink Escalade.

Cousins Kay and Kali came over last week after their jiu jitsu class for cookies and playtime.  The girls LOVE to play with their cousins!  From left to right: Lauren, Kay, Emily, and Kali.

Yee Haw!

The girls are thoroughly enjoying the freedom that comes with toddler beds... they are quite skilled at sneaking out of their bedroom, quietly closing the door behind them (to make it seem as though they are still inside sleeping), and roaming the house getting into mischief!

First Day of Preschool

The girls started preschool this past week! Here they are heading out the door on the morning of their first day at preschool ... they were literally jumping up and down with excitement! Their light-up star boots were twinkling away!

I told the girls to stand next to each other and say "cheese" and this was the result... Emily on the left and Lauren on the right.

The girls managed to pop their first ball pit, so we recently replaced it with an inflatable swimming pool. They love to jump off the side wall into the balls! Here is Lauren catching some air as Emily cheers her on.

We visited a cute pet store this weekend with all kinds of creatures! Emily immediately noticed the "snack" in the bowl.

Lauren insisted on "cuddling with the puppy"... Emily was hesitant at first but eventually pet the puppy.
