This week we also visited an indoor playpark called Munchkin Playland. In typical fashion, the girls quickly discovered the fake food toys... Emily liked the strawberry ice cream and Lauren liked the chocolate ice cream. 
It was a little cool and damp, but the girls still had a great time visiting Jack Park... Lauren is on the slide and Emily is on the swing.
Emily (left) and Lauren (right) have inherited Mommy's sweet tooth! This week we made chocolate chocolate chip cookies. 
This is one of my favorite recent pictures of Emily (left) and Lauren (right)! They have so much fun together and although there is occasional bickering, there are many thoughtful moments too. On the day this photo was taken, Emily started crying because she wanted to wear Lauren's fairy shirt. Lauren graciously took her shirt off and traded shirts with Emily so that Emily could wear the fairy shirt. A simple gesture, but so thoughtful!
This week we visited the Rainbow Play Park... the girls had a great time climbing and sliding!
Playdates with Harrison and Gavin are always lots of fun! Here Emily makes some coffee with Harrison while Gavin decides what to prepare next.

During our weekend trip to Costco, the girls discovered the spring dress section and each picked out a dress. Lauren chose a polka dotted dress and Emily chose a tea length dress with embroidered flowers. They love to wear their dresses and dance like ballerinas!

We thoroughly enjoyed having this past week off to relax and enjoy the holiday season! There was a lot of playing with new toys and eating of tasty treats. The girls also got haircuts at Little Clippers! Here is Emily after her trim... she did great during the haircut but wasn't so sure about the noisy hairdryer.

We stayed for a little while afterwards to play with the cars. Lauren is in the firetruck and Emily is in the Escalade.
The girls met an energetic little boy named Alejandro who pushed the girls in the Escalade!
The girls love to go to the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry and being able to go with Uncle Lane made it even more fun!

On the way home we stopped at the Old Spaghetti Factory for lunch... Emily ate an entire big scoop of spumoni ice cream for dessert!
