Nike Outdoor National Meet

Emily qualified to compete at the Nike Outdoor Nationals meet at Hayward Field. It's always fun to visit Eugene and the weather was gorgeous!

We tried this poke restaurant and it was fantastic.

I had the original spicy tuna poke.

Could not resist trying the guava cheesecake.

We also had grilled chicken salads at Red Robin.

Emily triple jumped 35 feet, 0.25 inches... not one of her best marks but still a solid jump.

Emily had a great start and ran a strong first leg... it was a close race and her team ended up winning the emerging elite division!

One of the traditions is for graduating seniors to visit their former elementary schools to see their teachers and inspire the younger students. It's amazing how quickly the years go by!
