Fall Piano Recital

Emily and Lauren played piano in the fall music recital for Oregon Music Academy.

Emily played a song called "A Thousand Years".

Lauren played a song called "All of Me". They both did a fantastic job!

Halloween 2019

Lauren dressed up as a cat and Emily dressed up as a vampiress for Halloween.

We made mummy wraps for dinner... biscuit dough wrapped around turkey hot dogs and chicken sausages with ketchup for "blood".

The girls had a great time trick or treating! This is Emily enjoying cotton candy at a street celebration in our neighborhood.

Outdoor School

The girls went to outdoor school last month... they went to different camp sites and both had a fun time. When Emily came home, she requested sushi for lunch.

Lauren and friends getting ready to leave for outdoor school.

When Lauren came home, she requested a burger, fries, and strawberry milkshake for lunch... yum!

Fall Trip to Hood River

We went on an overnight trip to Hood River... our first stop was the Harvest Fest, a fall festival featuring local foods and artisans.

We had dinner at Celilo, one of our favorite restaurants in Hood River.

Even though it was cold, we still went to Mike's Ice Cream for dessert. :)

The next morning we went for a hike at Lost Lake.

Beautiful view of the lake.

View from the car window on the way home. It's always so much fun to visit Hood River!

Banks Vernonia State Trail

We went on a family bike ride on the Banks-Vernonia state trail in October. It was a beautiful fall day... so pretty and peaceful!
