Festival of Balloons 2015

Lauren and Emily met up with their friends Justus and Olin for an afternoon of carnival rides at the Festival of Balloons!

Everyone loved the tiger roller coaster.

Despite the 100 degree heat, the girls insisted on going on more rides even after their friends left for the day. This one was called The Scrambler and was one of their favorites. 

The girls really liked the cool breeze on this ride.

After four hours of rides, the girls finally decided to call it a day. They were exhausted!

Summer Concert, Play Date, and Happy Father's Day

Justin took the girls out on tuesday night for a tasty Hawaiian dinner...

and an outdoor concert featuring Recess Monkey! 

The girls had fun dancing and listening to the music.

First Days of Summer and Lauren's Lost Teeth

The girls' last day of school was on wednesday and summer is off to a great start already! They went bowling at Big Al's on thursday. 

The girls also tried out a taekwondo class for the first time and really enjoyed it!

She lost another upper row tooth on saturday morning!

Emily- Lost Tooth #6

Emily lost her sixth tooth tonight! The girls lost three teeth between the two of them in three days... that's a record!

Summer Piano Recital

Emily and Lauren performed in a summer music recital this past weekend. They wore their fanciest dresses and looked so pretty!

Emily performed Sonatina by Muzio Clementi. 

Lauren performed Intrada in C Major by Christoph Graupner. They both did a fantastic job and we are so proud of them!

Lauren's Lost Teeth

Lauren lost a tooth on friday night... she was so excited! 

Then Lauren lost a second tooth on saturday night... WOW!

We also had a fun belated birthday celebration for Tian and Grandpa Rufener this weekend. The girls particularly loved the chocolate raspberry cake.
