Cirque du Soleil- Kurios

We saw the Cirque du Soleil show Kurios this weekend... it was amazing! Both MAWS and DD came along which made it extra fun.  

We met the Kisors there too. The girls always love getting together with their twin cousins Kay and Kali.

Rosco the Fish

We have a new pet named Rosco!

He is a rose petal betta fish... so pretty! The girls feed him on sundays, wednesdays, and fridays.

Apple Festive and Sunday Morning Pancakes

Grandma and Grandpa Rufener took the girls to a local apple festival this weekend. The girls had a great time! Here is Lauren spiral cutting an apple.

We made pancakes from scratch on Sunday morning. The girls love cooking. :)

Taekwondo Red Belt Test

Emily and Lauren passed their red belt test this week. We are so proud of them!

Summer Box Projects

The girls' first homework assignment of the year was to make a summer box out of a cereal box. The boxes showcase the student's favorite things and each student gets to present their box to the class.

Here are a couple of random photos from this week... we made mushroom and pea risotto in the Instant Pot and it was delicious! The girls love food and cooking. 

We also went to the mall to run an errand and it happened to be the grand opening day of the American Girl store. The girls had a fun time looking around and bought some accessories using their saved up birthday money.

Last Week of Summer

We celebrated Uncle Lane's birthday last week with dinner at Gustav's and a chocolate cake.
