Lauren and Emily are eight-years-old! We had a great time celebrating. The weekend began with a shopping trip to pick out some toys.
We went out to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Cafe Mingo. Emily ordered a special lemonade drink with club soda and basil.
Lauren ordered the same drink without club soda as she is not a huge fan of carbonated beverages.

Uncle Lane flew all the way to Portland from St. Louis on the girls' birthday! The girls LOVE Uncle Lane. He stayed at our house for a few days... it was a birthday wish come true!
