Lincoln City Trip

We went to Lincoln City for a few nights and had a great time! When we arrived in town we picked up take out from J's Fish and Chips. They have very strict rules about dining in and take out. 

We brought our take out dinner back to the condo. 

They have the BEST fish and chips!

We walked on the beach... it was very windy.

The next morning the girls played in the sand. 

They also flew kites. 

Justin did some kiteboarding... we dropped him off at the kite launch area and he was able to kiteboard back to the condo!

The Regatta Park playground had been updated since the last time we were there.

The girls forgot to bring their iPads, so they did a lot of reading and crafting during our vacation. Emily made this colorful pot holder.

Tree To Tree Adventure Park

Kay, Lauren, Kali, and Emily recently went to Tree to Tree Adventure Park to enjoy a day of tree top obstacle courses and zip lines. The girls loved it!

Eyeglasses, Eclipse, and a Snake

Emily (top) and Lauren (bottom) picked out some new eyeglass frames last week.

We were at home during the morning of the total solar eclipse.

We intermittently glanced at the eclipse through our eclipse masks.  It was kind of eerie when it suddenly became a bit darker and cooler outside.

Reptile Man visited one of the girls' summer camps. Emily was excited to hold this giant snake!

Glacier National Park, Part 2

I brought my camera equipment to Glacier National Park and finally got around to editing the photos! (The photos in the prior post were all taken with my iPhone.) Enjoy!

This photo and the ones that follow were all taken with a manual focus tilt shift lens. It gives the photos an artsy effect because there is only a thin slice of tilted focus in the image.
