Portland International Auto Show

This weekend we went to Portland International Auto Show... we had a fun time checking out the fancy rides!

We also recently met a new friend in our neighborhood named Ila! Here is (from left to right) Lauren, Emily, and Ila enjoying a play date snack at Ila's house.

Weekend Fun with Cousin Ella

Cousin Ella and Uncle Scott flew all the way from Virginia for a visit! The last time the girls played with Ella was the summer of 2011, so they were really excited to see her.

In the late afternoon everyone started to get tired, so the girls decided to watch one of our favorite movies, Tangled. Although not pictured here, the girls also enjoyed swimming, lunching at Red Robin, and lots of playtime at Grandma and Grandma Rufener's house which made for a wonderful weekend!

Skiing at Mount Hood Meadows

The girls went skiing for the first time ever this weekend at Mount Hood Meadows! The weather was gorgeous.

I took a ski lesson too, and in the afternoon Justin snowboarded down some of the green runs with me. The view from the top of the Vista trail was beautiful.

Winter Bike Riding

The girls have been practicing their bike riding skills this week despite the cold temperatures! We live on a dead end street with a slight hill which is perfect for biking.

Emily likes to ride FAST, so she gets tired and has to rest.

Lauren prefers to ride slow and steady. She loves to ride in circles on the driveway while Emily races up and down the street.
