We went to St. Louis for a Rufener family reunion! We saw this neat wooden clock at the Portland airport before we boarded our flight to St. Louis.
Girls hanging out with aunt Tian and cousin Sarae at the hotel pool.
We spent an entire day at Six Flags and the girls LOVED it! This was the Superman Tower of Power ride... a free fall from 230 feet!
Lauren driving me around in an old fashioned buggy.
The girls are always up for a carrousel ride!
This ride was called Sky Screamer... the swings dangle from a 23-story tower and swing around at 43 miles per hour! The girls enjoyed the Screamin' Eagle and Ninja roller coasters too.
We spent a couple of hours at the Six Flags wave pool and stopped at the souvenir shop on our way out.
The girls slept REALLY well that night! This photo reminded me of...
... this photo of the girls when they were newborns. Lauren still likes to be fully wrapped in her blankets. :)
We went to a local park and saw this amazingly large and random eyeball sculpture.
We had family portraits taken at the park... here are all of the cousins getting their portrait taken.
We also visited a children's museum. Lauren enjoyed playing this instrument at the China exhibit.
Emily (left) and Lauren (right) in the science area learning about static electricity.
Jackie (Justin's aunt) and her husband Brian hosted a fun backyard BBQ/swimming party at their house on the last night of our trip.
Cousins together at the hotel breakfast buffet. We had a great time together!!!
