Emily's First Lost Tooth

Emily lost her first tooth on January 17, 2014. It had been loose for a while, but she did not want us to pull it out. One evening while she was eating a bowl of blueberries, we noticed that the tooth had disappeared... presumably because she swallowed it!

Emily wrote a letter to the tooth fairy explaining what happened. The tooth fairy left both real and chocolate coins for her! :)

More Fun With Cousin Ella

MVP Basketball League

The girls started basketball this weekend... it's their first season ever! Here is Emily (left) and Lauren (right) warming up before the introductory skills clinic began.

Reunion With Cousin Ella

Cousin Ella is in town and the girls are thrilled! Here is Ella, Lauren, and Emily making their own pizzas for dinner. Dinner was followed by a viewing of The Little Mermaid and pie/ice cream for dessert.

Mt. Hood Getaway

To start off the new year, we took a long weekend trip to Mt. Hood. We found a great condo to stay at that was perfect for relaxing when we weren't playing in the snow. 

The first day we went skiing at Timberline... the snow was a bit scant, but it was a relatively warm and sunny day which was nice.

On the third day, the girls' friend Amanda joined us for some skiing. 

Some new snow had fallen the night before which made for a great day of skiing. 

We had a fun time skiing together as a family! The girls are able to get off the chair lift on their own and ski down green runs... we're so proud of them!
