The girls got new eyeglasses this week... they love them!

Grandpa and Grandma Rufener took the girls out this weekend. They went to the mall and picked out new Beanie Boo stuffed animal keychains to attach to their backpacks, and afterwards they went bowling and ate lunch at Big Al's. The girls had a great time!

Lauren is going to be the Special Someone in class next week which means she gets to bring in photos of her favorite things to put on the class bulletin board. Here she is with her favorite stuffed animal, Betty Bunny.

On sunday night we watched the supermoon lunar eclipse... so pretty!

Taekwondo, Basketball, and Birthday Wishes for K&K

Emily and Lauren passed their first taekwondo belt test last week!

They both advanced from white belt to white belt with a black stripe.  

The girls went to a weekend basketball class at a local recreation center. Here is Emily dribbling the ball down the court.

We also stopped at Kay and Kali's house this weekend to wish them an early happy birthday!

Labor Day Weekend

Fresh haircuts for the start of the new school year!

This week was boat safety week at Children of the Sea. 

We went for a hike at the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge.

We treated ourselves to Menchie's frozen yogurt after the hike. 

We also met up with cousins Kay and Kali to play at the playground. 

It was a great way to end the summer!
