Birthday Cake Times Two

This week was Mommy's birthday!  We had two cake celebrations and the girls were delighted!  Here is Lane, Lauren, and Emily watching Tian light the candles.

On Sunday night Lane came over to help the girls make pizzas!  Here is Emily spreading the sauce on her crust while Lauren chats with Lane.

Time for toppings!  Lauren chose yellow peppers and Emily chose green peppers.

The sun finally came out this week!  It was a beautiful day at Bonita Park.

Young Veterinarians

The veterinary area at the Children's Museum is a new favorite for the girls!  Here is Emily examining her patient while Lauren checks out the white coats.

Play Boutique- Beaverton

A new Play Boutique recently opened near our house!  They have a large indoor play area which is perfect for rainy days.  Emily loved riding around on this pirate ship.

Lauren has always been a great climber!

The girls spent quite a bit of time pushing around these shopping carts and picking up various items.  Lauren can run in heels... wow!

It feels like spring!

Today was a beautiful sunny day!  Here is a cute picture of Dad with his giggly girls.  You can see that our tulips are beginning to sprout!

So happy to be swinging in the backyard!

Winter Getaway to Bend

This past week we went on a family vacation to Bend!  The girls were excited to see so much snow!

We stayed at the Seventh Mountain Resort in the same unit as our last trip so everything was really familiar.  Here is Lauren (left) and Emily (right) hanging out in the living room.

We decided to go on a sled dog ride at Mt. Bachelor!  Here is Justin and Lauren getting bundled up in the lodge before the ride.

And we're off!  It was an amazing ride and the scenery was so pretty!

The ride was just under an hour and most of the trail was through the snowy forest.

The next day we went sledding!  Here is Emily and Justin going down the hill.

We stopped at the same snow park the next day prior to driving back to Portland.  Lauren (left) and Emily (right) wanted to play in the snow one more time!

The snow was a little bit stickier that day, so we were able to make a snowman!
