The Grand Californian

Last week we flew to California for a week long vacation! Lauren was my seat partner on the way there. 

We stayed at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel for the first half of the week and loved it! Lauren (top) and Emily (bottom) slept in a bunk bed for the first time.  

The girls also enjoyed room service breakfast for the first time!

The hotel had a fabulous pool and water slide. Lauren enjoyed going down the slide over and over again.

Happy Birthday to MAWS!

Lauren (left) and Emily (right) love MAWS and celebrating birthdays, so celebrating MAWS' birthday this weekend with a pineapple upside down cake was a quite a treat! Happy birthday, MAWS! 

Spring Haircuts

The girls always enjoy getting haircuts at Little Clippers! A friendly boy gave Lauren a ride around the salon while she waited for her turn to get a haircut. You can see Emily in the background admiring her new hairdo created by the girls' favorite hair stylist, Kookie.

Tulip Fest 2013

The tulip festival at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn is always beautiful, and this year we were able to visit during peak bloom!
