Visiting Hood River is one of our favorite summer traditions! We stayed in a different part of town this year at a rental house with a nice view.
Lexi loved the upper level deck on the front of the house.
She likes to lounge in the sun.
Lexi also enjoyed walks around town.
Lauren with Lexi.
Justin and the girls went on a river raft ride!
I arrived a few days later due to work... this is the front of the house.
Lounging with Lexi on the front deck.
Such a pretty view!
We had dinner reservations and decided to walk to the restaurant.
The girls looked so pretty!
Girls enjoying some mocktails.
I had salmon... it was a lot of food!
The walk from downtown to the rental house was no joke... multiple sets of long staircases.
Lexi is always so happy to come with us on trips.
Biking on the Historic Columbia River Highway Trail is another one of our traditions... the views never get old.
Group selfie on the bike trail.
Lexi watching for birds.
We walked down to Doppio, our favorite cafe, with Lexi.
I love their avocado toast with goat cheese.
They have outdoor tables so Lexi was able to sit with us.
More lounging on the deck.
Lexi and I went out to Panorama Point county park... the view of Mt. Hood was so pretty!
Lexi did not last long in the heat though, so we returned to the condo and she curled up on my lap for a nap.
Emily did a little bit of windsurfing... usually the girls do a windsurfing camp but this year there was not one offered during the week we were there.
Ice cream at Mike's with Amanda... another one of our favorite traditions.
Lauren and Lexi on the Indian Creek trail.
Pretty view of the river.
This jasmine plant smelled amazing!
Lexi gets really worn out by hot weather.
When we arrived back at home, Lexi took a bath and curled up on her favorite chair to recuperate.
